Hard to leave home

I had such a wonderful time at home in Alabama. Leaving my entire family(except for my sister in California) to come back to Washington was heart wrentching for me! Especially during the Christmas season! I was eager to get back to Eric & the "babies," but I was so very sad to say goodbye to these people that I have known & loved my entire life. That is a hard aspect of military life! I am such a family person, & being away from them is terrible, however it does make the time that i spend with them so special! We packed everything in that we had time for! Baking parties, shopping trips, visiting of relatives, & picking out a puppy for mom! The puppy is so adorable! Mom chose a West Highland terrier & named her Sadie Bella. She is a fiesty one!
My heart is definetly lighter now that I was able to see & actually touch my loved ones. I feel very blessed.
